Feb 21, 2008 · I have seen 1 1/2" scale live steam locomotives with steel boilers that are over 60 years old and that are still in good condition. I have two live steam locomotives, a Little Engine's Baldwin Mogul with a copper boiler(40+ years old) and a Allen's 10-Wheeler with a steel boiler(25+ years old) and both are in great condition.
